Remote Internet Access of HA System

I'm not a techy. I have a HAI OmniPro system with Web-Link software. I have it working fine on my network, but can't get it to work on a browser from the internet. I have a static IP and a router.

Do I have to configure the router?

How do I address the Web-Link software.

The manual just has this:

hxxx://(followed by your "Internet IP address"/web-link

What type of router do you have?

You probably have to open up a port on your router and forward your HAI's IP address to that port.

I've been looking through the router manual and can't figure out how to open up the port. I know it's port 80 that has to be open. Here's the link for the router if you have time to find it. I appreciate the help.

Looks like page 36 speaks to it. Think of your HAI as a WebServer (which it has embedded in it).

Sorry for the dumb questions..but, I can't see where I open a port on that page (36). Do I use the virtual server screens (page 37/38)? Thanks again for the help.
