Will we see XA2 connected to 50in 1080p plasma in every retail stores soon?

Now that the XA2 with reportedly jaw dropping and mouth watering PQ, will we see this player connected to 50in 1080p Plasmas in every BB, CC, etc (assuming Toshiba are able to produce enough units to satisfy demands)?

Its ironic that Toshiba is doing a 'better' job in making 1080p more significant when BD is the one that touted the superiority of 1080p.

Well, there's only one 50" 1080p plasma - the Pioneer Elite. That isn't carried by Circuit City or Best Buy, but Magnolias inside Best Buys have them.

The XA2 is the high end model, and I doubt if CC or the "core" BB stores will carry them. They will likely be in Magnolia, though.

So it sounds like, that among the two major chains, BB with a Magnolia will be your best chance to see that combination.

I don't believe you'll see Toshiba anything hooked up to Pioneers. Seems to be corporate policy. When I put in a Pioneer BR demo disk in a Panny BR player hooked up to a Panny 65" 1080p display, I was nearly shot. Strange policies, very strange.

The first HD DVD demo I ever saw, prolly back in June or so, was a Toshiba hooked up to a pioneer plasma, in a best buy.
