i go either net to cable modem=YES online no prob


i go either net to D-LINK DI624 router= unable to connect to xboxlive..phuckMe

Does either net = ethernet? Also, could you be a little more specific and complete on your network information.

Can't share photos with windows PC? or Can't connect to live via router?

What windows OS? WMP11 is required on XP without Media Center. Even then you can't share photos/music.

If you have media center edition - can't help..I have win2k w/TVersity. Shares photos/video/music and transcodes video files perfectly.

Check firewall on personal PC.

For your Router, not sure. I've got a basic wired linksys router and never had an issue connecting to live or the network. Try putting the 360 in the DMZ?

I'm having the same problem:
Replacement Xbox w/ same harddrive and it doesn't connect with my computer.

Live does work fine though.

I have WMP11 on XP. It shares photos, music, and wmv video. Before I let WMP upgrade itself, I had Media Connect working fine to share the same things.

heres what happened:





360 broke-walked into store and replaced it minus the harddrive-come home fire it up-cant get online-opened all ports through router-still cant get online-bought brand new router can get online sometimes2nd issue is-360 and windowsXp laptop wont communicate with eachother..plus xboxlive isnt stable..old router was dlinkDI624 and new router is linksys WRT54GS-ps3 has no issues wirelessly!

You really need to learn how to type. I need something in a logical order with capitalization and punctuation. These stream of consciousness posts make by rectum ache.
