Consolidated List of Future Blu-ray Releases - Page 2

Where does blu-ray.com get their release list? They show Independence Day TBA for 20th Century Fox but foxbd.com doesn't show ID4 coming soon. I didn't see it listed here either.

Bluray needs those titles out!

Where's batman begins???

waiting on the IME, PIP thingy to get going...

I think it'd be more than fair to add the Warner and Paramount titles mentioned in the HD DVD press release on the BD list since both are neutral studios. Warner in particular has the Matrix Trilogy and the Harry Potter series coming out!

There used to be (still there) a stickied master list of releases by efralope, but it hasn't been updated since 12/20. If efralope doesn't update his list soon, I think this should be stickied.

It's not that easy figuring out exact street dates (and how to lump shipments together from mail order), so a release thread is always welcome.

Btw, efralope's list also includes the studio.

The list has been updated to show this morning's announcements. I still have not listed the Warner Brother's, Paramount or New Line titles. I will get to those later on.

Where is Once upon a time in mexico. Previews for this have been out for a while, but I guess sony is going to announce later in the day, week correct? I was also hoping to see this too, but I can't complain with Disney, Fox, and WB just flooring me with their release announcements, I will have most of my favorite movies in HD, I just need Gladiator, Jurassic park and LOTR in HD.

Oh my god this list is sweet. I'm going to buy a PS3 in march when it comes out here. There is alot of stuff that I want and that is exclucive. Well I wanted to buy the PS3 anyway so this is definately a plus.

I do not think it has been mentioned yet. I beleive it is a Sony title and they will announce this afternoon.

BEATBOY, keep up the good work! Dont listen to the few "hardcore" HD DVD fans left. This is their final charge.....

Thanks!! I know I get caught up in some of the hardcore debate as well. After reading the list of upcoming BD releases I just sit here and smile as I truly feel that software will win this format war.

"It's the Software Stupid."

Whenever I read any HD-DVD FUD anywhere on AVS, you can bet I will state my opinion though.

I must say I'm somewhat excited to see some older classics coming out. May will be a good month for war movies. "A Bridge Too Far", "The Battle of Britain", and "Platoon". And later, "To Live and Die in LA" - awesome.

Since your list has replaced the old one, what do you think about adding previously released movies for new owners?(I have a feeling we will be getting numerous fence sitters and converters shortly.)

We can do that. I will add the "Currently Available Blu-ray Titles" list to post #3 in this thread to help keep things organized better. If we add them to post #1 it could make that post a little confusing.
