did BD fake PIP for Descent?

That's the buzz at the AV forums:

If so then that's pretty stupid, since Warner can do the same w/ VC-1 on 50gb disc.

can anyone verify this?

They sure didn't fake the seamless branching that hd dvd was supposed to be using by now .
Must be a space constraint thing

since nowhere on the case for the disc does it say "overlaid java PIP" how did they 'fake it"..?

That link was hilarious. A bunch of Hddvd owners patting themselves on the back and being all insulting and thinking they were oh so clever until the moderator came in and threatened to suspend half of them...

how's that "stop and resume" on the toshiba's working out...?

just asking if it's legit, anyone know?

and respond to a legitimate question w/ sarcasm, not very nice of you

seems to be true, based on the posters - who have thousands of posts and are credible

your username is pretty ironic then, no...?

You are so obviously trolling....

Do you care? You don't own a BD player do you?

It's like if I had a screen name of "Blu Ray RULES!" and then go start a thread "asking" if the new Toshiba players fixed that annoying can't hit stop and then play while attaching a link to a site where dozens of BD owners were insulting HDdvd...

come on. Be a bit more subtle if you are going to troll in the BD forum

can any 'grown up' BD person comment?

and the mod intervened due to trolling by BD fans and OT posts.

My username has nothing to do with anything. I'm a HD DVD supporter who wants to know if Descent was cheated out of a BD50 because they had to encode the film twice[b] one for the film and one including video commentary which is quite disturbing

I've now surpassed the attack dogs; now can I get a mature response?

didn't you get enough "answers" in the link you posted?

Since you don't even own BD, why does this "disturb" you?

(and it's "supressed", not "surpassed")
