I'm loving all these new release statements. Both of my favorite Ahnold movies are coming now. I new about commando but just recently was posted that Predator was coming out in May according to Kadeeu's statement

January 23 Alien Vs Predator, Men of Honor, Courage Under Fire
February 13 The Sentinel, Entrapment, Broken Arrow, Phone Booth,
Planet of the Apes (2001), Chain Reaction, The Marine
March 13 Ice Age, Dodgeball, Commando, From Hell
April 3 The Fly (1986), Tristan & Isolde, Me, Myself & Irene,
Dude, Where's My Car?
April 17 Turistas
May '07 Master & Commander, Man on Fire, Edward Scissorhands,
Predator, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,
The Siege
June '07 Independence Day, I, Robot, Cast Away

First time I saw the Fly mentioned,I'm looking foward to that for sure!

There are several on that list that I'm looking forward to...particularly "Master and Commander".

I'm somewhat surprised that "Last of The Mohicans" and/or "Moulin Rouge" aren't among the early Fox BD releases...both would be terrific in HD.

The Predator is a MUST BUY!

I've been selling my SD DVDs like crazy. I've probably gotten rid of 700 or so in that last couple of months. Mostly the only ones I have left are little indie ones of rare horror/sci fi films and some documentaries. There's still some comedies and higher profile ones left though so I guess this just confirms there's no point in holding onto them. Everything is coming eventually.

Terrific list from Fox. Several of those will help sell a lot of Blu-ray players.

Lots of other good stuff there. ID4, I Robot, The Fly, Butch Cassidy.

the DTS and dd5.1 tracks on the Predator DVD were very lame so audio wise im not expecting to be blown away.

Predator here also. I'll pass on Commando though. It's been a while but I remember not liking it at all. I'll never forget the explosion with the dummies in front of the building (he,heeeeeee).
Oh come on...lines like "Remember when I said I'd kill you last? I lied" easily make up for a few exploding dummies in front of the barracks

Commando is a classic Ahnuld flick.I'm definitely picking up this one(and Predator,a no-brainer)

Predator, Me, Myself, and Irene, and Dude, Where's My Car. My wallet is going to be going through some rough times throughout the next few months.

Oh come on, how could you not like it when arnold was holding that guy over the edge of the cliff with just one arm, and he kept on slapping his arm and saying "Better tell me, this is my weak arm!!" Ahahahah, what a monster!

How about Ahnold crashing into phone pole at 60 MPH head on, and he leisurely gets out of the wrecked car.

Sulley, remember when I promised to kill you last??? I lied.

Please don't bother my friend, he's dead tired!

I liked the opening scene in Commando, it presents the kind of man that you are going to be dealing with through out the movie. In the opening scene he had just got done chopping down a Tree. Well rather then chopping the tree into smaller pieces to carry home in a truck or what not, he just picks up the whole damned tree and carries it home on his shoulder

Ok, I'll give a second chance. There have been many movies that I liked on a second viewing.
I'll definitely be getting Predator, AvP, ID4, From Hell, Edward Scissorhands, and Ice Age 1.

No,the first movie he says that in is 'The Terminator' when he's in the police station, just before he kills all the cops.

he says it in commando.

He 1st says "You're a funny man, Sully, I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last"

Then

"Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last? "

-Sully - Yeh thats right

"I Lied"

If both films on BD get good reviews for their PQ and AQ then i will not hesitate to pick them up.

In the airplane: "Don't bother my friend... he is dead tired."

At the mall (security guard): "Suspect is 6'1", brown hair, brown eyes and is one gigantic mother f*****!"

I can't wait to see this movie in HD. Please Fox, do a nice new transfer of it.

He really is the master of cheesy oneliners. I dont expect this to look reference(It is a "B" movie), but I will still be buying it!

Hahaaha, ya thats great stuff. Not to mention the fact that this is the highest kill rate on any single man in one movie. He took on a whole private army for gods sake, thats some good stuff!!!

Dump it! The DVD is not even anamorphic. Go Blu!

Regardless of what you think of Commando, this sequence of dialog ranks among the best in movie history.

Speaking of Predator, I can't wait to hear the chaingun sequence in DTS 1.5mb, and the full assault in Master audio once I can decode it.
