I was looking a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find them anywhere. One day in Target, I walked over to the gaming section and nothing. The dude working in electronics says "Can I help you?" I say I'm looking for the remote and nunchuck.

To my surprise, he says "We keep them in the back". He went in the back and pulled them out. I was happy.

I've found them at Toys R Us and Best Buy at random times...

Picked one up at Toys r us last night and the nunchuck at Circuit City last Sat (both in Memphis)

At first I could not find any here, but since XMas they seem to have Wiimotes and Nunchucks out in most stores.

Stopped at the Toys R Us on the quest yesterday, he said they got a shipment in that morning. All that was left was 1 nunchuk which I bought. Wiimotes are pretty hot at the moment.

I went to the Frys in San Jose/Brokaw and they had a large number of remotes and nunchuks . I'd imagine the same situation at other (bay area) Frys..

The guy at my local Toys R Us said they aren't getting any in until WiiPlay with remote is released. I don't really believe him, I think he was just trying to get me to pre-order.

Target had about 5 on display (no nunchuk) with the latest shipment yesterday.

One day in November I went to a Toys R Us (after not being able to buy a Wii since I was a couple behind the last ticket) and bought all my extra controllers I needed. Now If I can find my Wii!

I saw two extra remotes at Best Buy last week. I bought one of them. No nunchuk attachments available, though.

Try your local Sears. They don't show as being available on the website, but when I called on Friday, the store rep told me he had remotes and nunchuks in stock. I asked if he could hold them for me if I gave him my credit card #, but he said not to worry as they really don't get a lot of people asking for them.

I went to Toys 'R Us, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, and EB Games. Not a single remote. However, EB Games had 3 nunchuks; I bought 2 of them.

I've seen them off and on at various Best Buys, Targets and Fry's Electronics in the OC area over the last couple of weeks. They're usually gone the next day. Hard to find, but not as hard as the Wii itself!

Where I'm at you can't find the Wiimotes anywhere. After weeks of searching I finally found that my Best Buy had 3 in. So I bought them all.

It is people like me who probably make them really hard to find. But I want to play with 3 friends!

I'm waiting until Wiiplay comes out in a few weeks...but I have seen a handful at Target the other day.

I got fairly lucky when I picked up my Wii to get an extra remote and 2 chucks. I still need a chuck and 2 more remotes. I also picked up 2 classic controllers since that was a big selling point for me (old-school gamer here). Does anyone know if there will be any 4-player games on the VC (thus necessitating 2 MORE controllers)?

Here in SC, the Best Buy sold out of them quickly Sunday morning (I was 16th in line and didn't get one - I got a nunchuck and component cables though). By Sunday afternoon, Kmart was already out, but I found a Wiimote at Target. They had a couple left after I got mine.
