Surge protection options?

I'm looking for a new surge protector for high-current devices, with at least 11 or 12 outlets. Problem is, most of them come with conditioning or filtering, and I'm afraid that these features may squash audio dynamics.

Does anyone have any recommendations on something that only provides surge protection, as well as passing high current?

If you're that concerned about it, consider surge protectors that are designed for office copiers.

I use a 1200Va APC UPS, and it does the job just fine. You could find one for under $100.

I'm thinking of just going with a simple 11-outlet APC SurgeArrest 11:

Is it safe to plug multiple amps into this? I don't want anything choking.
