Question: Region free for SD DVD? PAL support?

Anyone forsee any of these player supporting PAL playback of SD DVD or region free hacks?

Will it be necessary for me to keep my old SD player for PAL SD DVD's or to have region free playback of SD DVD's?

You don't list a specific player...but I can answer by saying NONE right now. This question comes up very other week and no reported hacks or mods to region free play. I contacted JB digital a week ago and they have not developed a region free mod for any HD or BD players. Who knows what the future would bring.

Nope, not yet however the HD-DVD is not region encoded so you can play any HD-DVD in a US player. Many have imported movies from the UK and france.
