I recently purchased a projector, a Sony Cineza HS-60. This is my first projector and am very happy with the performance. I would like to get the best picture possible though so please lead me through some steps to calibrate the picture. Here are a few questions I have and please fill in with other information I need to get the most out of my new purchase.

1. From reading this form I understand there are calibration discs. What is recommended for my projector, keep in mind I do not have any calibration equipment.

2. When you calibrate the picture is it to get the best out of the source such as DVD player, cable signal, ect... Will each signal source need a different calibration?

I am a noob at this so sorry for such a basic question.
