$300 receiver suggestions???

I just picked up a set of Mirage Omnisats and a BIC H-100 sub does anyone have suggestions on receivers??? I have looked at a *lot* of them over the past couple of months and here are my thoughts.

Requirements: Silver in color and have the feature Midnight mode. Automatic setup mode would be nice. I would like to spend no more than $300.

The Pioneer 816 fits perfectly but it is on back order. The 817 will be coming out in April but I am not waiting that long. The Panasonic XR 57 is another candidate but I am unsure about if this receiver would be too bright considering my Mirage's are already bright.

Other suggestions????

The OP wanted a silver one. I don't think there have been any silver 816s about since last summer.

Have you considered a refurb from H/K at harmanaudio.com? In that price range a H/K will far surpass any other receiver. H/K refurbs have a full 2 year manufacturer's warranty, and from my experience (I owned two) they look and perform as new. Look under "specials" at their website.

This avr will kick the crap out of all the before mentioned avrs in that price range,so if the color isn't an issue pick it up before it's gone.
