Acronym list??? Help a nuuube

I'm not technically challenged at all - but wow I am amazed at the number of acronyms in these forums! Just when I think I've figgered 'em all out, somebody pops a new one in.

So for a new guy in all this AV stuff, where are all these things listed? I'm sure that some of the ones I have already 'figgered out' are wrong, and I have another hundred to learn.

Where can I look?

Nah, no list that I know of, which ones, off hand, do you want to know? I'm no tech geek but I've been around a bit.

SSE = Silk Screen Effect
SDE = Screen Door Effect

SSE - you can see the surface texture of the screen its self. RPTVs with high gain screens being the main culprit.

SDE - you can see the space between pixels. Large plasmas being the main culprit.

If you came up with a list of acronyms this would be a lot easier
