You would need to return the unit to a US service center for warranty repair.
To shed some light on this whole issue, the factory essentially sells the products to sales companies in various regions of the world with no warranty. Each sales company must factor anticipated warranty costs into the price of the productj and cover the cost of any warranty work done by the regional service organization.
If you buy a projector in the US and want to have it serviced in Canada, (or vice versa) the Canadian sales company did not accrue the warranty monies that are figured into each sale...additionally, they would be charged for parts and labor to repair the unit without the benefit of having made the profit on the sale.
