Niles ICS and Audio Authority

I am considering the possible use of a NilesICS system. Since this system does not distribute HDTV, I was thinking that maybe the GRX2 could control the AVAtrix via rs232?

Has anyone tried this? I know that Niles does not appear to support but a few products via rs232, but are there instructions or intentions from niles on how to get the GRX2 to output certain commands?

There are ways you can tweak it. It all depends on what you want to hook up to it. The legacy audio card has a flasher out so you can program it to output whatever you want. It is just kind of a pain to program. I think the legacy cards may be having problems. The one we have in our store has never worked right. The replacement showed up a couple days ago and it still does not seem to be working completly right
