I just bought my father a 30" LG HDTV. He also has an old Sherwood receiver, a CD player, and a DVD/VCR combo.
I am okay with hooking this stuff up, but no where near proficient. I have the DVD/VCR, and the CD player going through the receiver and using the simple surround sound he has. But, I cant get the TV to get audio to thereceiver. The TV input is "cable" Thats not an option on the receiver. I have hooked up many systems, but I cant with this. Does he have to have a cable box for this to work?
On teh receiver their is a TV/Aux choice, but its being used by the VCR/DVD.
Anyhelp is appreciated.
Thanks
