Top Blu-Ray Disc Ownership

Thread Starter
The Top HD DVD Ownership thread in the HD DVD software received overwhelming responses from over 1,100 users with nearly 50% ownership for the top 6 titles.

Let see how these 10 BD titles compare.

Sorry the poll only allows 10 options.

Others I also considered were: Corpse Bride, Tears of the Sun, XXX, and Underworld Evolution.

(Mod, Please move this thread to BD software section, Thanks)

I have Talledega nights but only the PS3 version. That one could skew the poll depending on whether people count it

All except Kingdom of Heaven. Battle epics are not my thing (and no, Pearl Harbor is not a battle epic )
I have 6 of them on Blu-ray. Plus, MI3 and Superman Returns on HDDVD.
I have 8 on the list and another 10 or so that I have purchased since X-mas. Good for the BDA, not so good for the old wallet.

Besides the options listed in the poll, I own a few other movies. I regret that Legends of Jazz and The 5th Element for example were not in the poll.

Majority of that list and more.

After 91 votes, it is surprising that Superman Returns, Pearl Harbor, and MI3 are around 30-35% ownership. Still too early to tell through.

Once again, I am not sure what threads like this are trying to accomplish? There are plenty of titles that lots of us own that could be argued are as good or better than what is listed.

It is not about good or better titles, the thread is about ownership rate.

I have all except Superman Returns and MI3. I have both of those on HD DVD.
I am wondering why this poll is in the Blu-ray Hardware section and the HD DVD poll is in the HD DVD Software section? That could have something to do with the number of responses.
funny i have 15 blue-ray movies but only 2 of the ones you have listed.

Where's Flightplan? The Reference BD IMO.

I voted for BHD, Click and PH...only keeping Black Hawk Down, selling the other two because I wasn't impressed!
I am an even 10 for 10 on the list. Plus I have Tears, Under world and Corpse Bride which were the next three choices for you.

62 BDs and counting
I have six of those and plan to get one more.

Then why not add another poll?

Working on one right now. It will be in the software section.
superman returns and mi:3 are extremely low on the list for such high profile titles. I voted for the other 8, so we all must own those 2 on hd-dvd instead! Yes I am format neutral.
I have all of them except for Pearl Harbor and X-men. BTW anyone who doesn't have Crank should pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

I watch Crank last night too, it definitely a must own title.

Talladega Nights came with my PS3 so I didn't count it - I'd never buy it. Seeing it once as a rental was plenty for me for quite some time, if ever again.
I now have every one except MI3 and Superman Returns which I have on HD DVD.
BHD and TN for me but THE WILD isnt on the poll and it is a MUST OWN...simply put its AMAZING

Is there a moderator out there to switch this thread to the BD software section, thanks.
xue, PM the mods, they might not see your posts.
No option for none, I rent only. Unless its a great film, no reason to buy. None of the listed films are even very good.
