WVIT-DT via Comcast Cable... horrible PQ so far. Sound cuts in and out and theres little dots all over the picture much of the time. Hope its some pre-game kinks that will be worked out by game start. I'm anxious to see the NBC graphics used this year.

Edit: I should mention this is the Rangers/Bruins game.

Watching Flyers/Penguins in Chicago and it is being shown in SD... so much for HD. Kind of mad right now. Im on comcast cable.

NBC Miami via Comcast cable - Rangers v. Briuns. Not in HD, with NBC HD sidebars.

NBC Detroit (Starchoice satellite) HD, good pic, but drop outs with sound and pic dropping out.

Yup. Let me switch to OTA, and see if it's the same there.

here in pittsburgh our local feed starts with the rangers game in hd, then they finally decide to swtich to our local pittsburgh game...and of course its in SD. this is pathetic.

I just missed seeing the Pens goal live as there was a full screen breakup of the video as it went in.

Pen/Flyers SD in Colorado as well...

EDIT: Now it's HD...

Same thing here in Denver on OTA. First they went to the wrong game (Rangers in HD) then switched back to the Flyers and it is only in SD.
Edit 12:24 PM MST
They finally switched to HD on the Flyers game.

NBC peacock logo that is in the lower right corner during replays is way to high. It looks like it is floating out in the middle of nowhere.

HD Rangers vs Bruins here in Sturbridge, MA on Charter. Pregame was unstable but now it's smooth.

No HD in DFW via OTA or D* for Pens/Flyers
post #21 of 40
WNBC-DT NYC OTA.

If you minus the macroblocking the PQ is good.
No SD cams so far. The score bar seems a little big but I like the style, it also looks like the graphics are HD.

NBC needs to be quicker going back from replays and breaks to the faceoff.

They almost missed the first two goals of each team as they missed the faceoffs.

Ok, still having video dropouts on Pens / Flyers, WDIV-DT in Detroit, OTA.

Also having video / audio dropouts on the Bruins / Flyers from WNBC-DT NYC, via channel 82 DirecTV.

Getting the Bruins/Rangers game in HD in Memphis. PQ is terrible and I'm constantly seeing double and triple lines around the circles and lines. Is anyone else seeing this?

OTA, WMC, 2 subs.

please go back and read the thread when i posted even though the game was to be in HD no market had reported actually having it as such. thus the question is there anyone out there that actually has this game in HD like it is supossed to be.

Video dropouts continue throughout the intermission. At least they wiped the water off the camera lens providing the video feed behind the desk. During the pregame they had some water drops on the lens.

NO HD on WTHR-13 in Indianapolis via Comcast or OTA.
NBC is stretching 4x3 content from highlights of previous games. I wish they would keep the 4x3 and put some pillar bars up or better yet get HD highlights if they exist.

I called WMAQ-5 and eventually called the cell of the Director of Engineering (Jan Jaros). She called me back to say that WMAQ are still waiting for the equipment so they can broadcast the NHL in HD. So today's NHL game and all games in the foreseeable future will be in SD.
Not sure what she means, since many WMAQ sports events are in HD. For some reason they need equipment for the NHL feed.
Does anyone know any more about this? It sucks having to watch hockey in SD.

Sound like BS. If they can do other NBC sports in HD, they can do hockey in HD.
