The Yamaha HTR-6060,6080,6090 and RX-V661,881 do support DSD audio through the HDMI 1.2a input. This is stated in the feature list for each of these receivers, for example:http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/p...8&CTID=5000300
On another often asked question, does the "DSD support" include a direct DSD to analog mode (without first converting to PCM), the Yamaha product information doesn't give a hint. Also, they specify "Burr-Brown 192kHz/24-bit DACs used in all channels", but not which model DAC (some but not all of the Burr-Brown 192/24 DACs support direct DSD to analog conversion).
To add to the information on new receivers, most of the Onkyo TX-SRxx5 receivers (with HDMI version 1.3) will probably support DSD over HDMI. Not the TX-SR505 or TX-SR575, because these are HDMI pass-thru only, but the middle and higher models. See thread:http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=831063
Also, the Onkyo TX-SR805 and above, with Burr-Brown PCM-1796 DAC chips, will probably include a direct DSD to analog mode.
