It just occurs to me most subs only come with (except for silver) black grills. I just don't get it. Black subs have black grills. Silver subs have silve grills. But other finishes also have black grills. Why don't maple subs have maple grills and rosenut subs have rosenut grills? They just look better with matching grills. A maple sub with a black grill is an eyesore and just screams, "I am a freak' sub."
Note to sub/speaker designers: For a vast number of people how the gears look are just as important as how they sound. A design that's pleasing to the eyes as well the ears will result in more sale.
