Solution for Wife Acceptance Factor (Costco)

Yesterday at Costco while my wife surveyed the jewelry case I spotted a 3 carat diamond ring with the appraisal showing a value of $100,000. It was marked down to only $68,000. With the savings you could do some serious HT equipment upgrading.

....and if you buy it on your Costco American Express card you can get 2% back!
Best,

....and don't forget that is she pisses you off, you can take it back anytime for a refund! :-)

I tried but her parents return policy wasn't as generous as Costco's

Tell them it's not a return, it's an upgrade

If they accept google checkout, you can save another $10.

And tax might be cheaper between Fairfax and Loudoun stores. Even if it only saves 1%, that's still $680... enough for a HD-DVD player and a dozen HDDVDs. Heck, at that price, it'd be worth buying a plane ticket to a state that doesn't charge sales tax at all.

Clarence good news, the ring is at the Loudon store. The one in Cascades. I've decided to pass so If you want to pick it up at lunch time it should be there. It's right next to the flat panel display so you can kill check out the recent offerings.

Instead I got by with 4 dozen roses for her birthday yesterday. ($28).

Lucky for me her birthday is the same as mine. It's real hard to forget. I'm also lucky it comes right after we get the bills for our Christmas spending. This year she wanted a laptop and a camera so I got of easy for her birthday.

Now if you think having the same birthday is kind of interesting let me tell you that our health insurance company has all kinds of problems posting charges to the right person. Claims get posted by Membership ID number and date of birth.

Happy Birthday to both of you.

Clarence actually I would need to buy 4.75 dozen.

Catdaddy, yes it's pretty had to believe, $14 buys you 2 dozen. Just wait till Feb 14 and see what people want to charge just for a dozen.
