hmmm....will Gears2 revive this thread...?

Probably, unless there's a need for a separate GOW2 Multiplayer thread.

I played through GOW on insane finally to prepare/warm up for GOW2. I see quite a few of my friends are still playing GOW mulitplayer, but I've been ignoring invites (sorry guys) in order to finish up GTAIV before GOW2 hits.

I for one am ready to be curbstomped, sawed in half and blown to pieces by some familiar voices once again!

In my opinion, nothing that has come out beats this game. So it is still the game I play on my free time. I just read a review of how GOW2 horde mode is going to be like and it sounds pretty interesting.

Yeah, I too miss having my name dead last in the match rankings. Ahhh...good times good times. Memmmories.....

I just watched IGN's multiplayer hands on. Guess I haven't paid enough attention, as the grenades-as-proximity mines was new to me, as was 5 teams of 2 players each. That sounds awesome.

My wife wants me to put it on my xmas list. I guess she doesn't understand how frustrating it would be to come into a game like this 6 weeks behind everyone else. She so crazy.

Leave it to Treek to search for and revive an old thread. Lot's of us still playing on a regular basis, and very excited about G2. This scheduling thread died because Gears became a nightly thing with many of us, doing away with the need to schedule games on a particular night.

The robed wonder is back kids. I have already purchased a sweet red velvet rob for November when I open Gears 2 and begin my onslaught to the bottom of the leaderboard.
