motherboard and case not made for love?

hi! ok so i've been looking at buying an expensive TV for a while and been looking around here, recently (due to unexpected work bonus) i've been sidetracked and am getting a new PC hopefully for some HTPC'ing.. so here's a real dumb(i think) question.

i'm looking at a case. and a motherboard they're both ATX or something like that but the inputs on the back of the motherboard don't seem like they'd fit with the holes in the back of the case i'm thinking of.. even the cases they recomend with the motherboards don't seem like they'd fit together...links to the parts below.

Help! sorry if this isn't a question to post here...

Most cases come with a generic I/O shield (the thing with all the holes for keyborad, mouse ports, etc) as a place holder. That is removeable. The motherboard will come with its own I/O shield that will replace the place holder one in the case.
