My DMR ES15 has started major choking on -RW discs. It grinds and trashes the recording. Big problem after recording 2 or 3 eps to have the 4th bring the machine to a halt. I have to recover the programs on the computer.
My E85 and E95 are flawless recording 3 to 4 hours per day every day. They do not accept -RW media (cheaper than RAM) which is why I bought the E15.

Which brand is it? I have been using Sony 2x and Office Depot 4x on the previous model (ES20) without any problems. Granted, I do not reuse the same DVD-RW frequently - I use them as short-to-medium-term storage.
