And what are the chances of actually breaking the Actuators (Wasting that much money)
Getting the plastic housing off of the SRP is the easy part. It's either a tiny allen wrench or a torques wrench. I can't remember.
There are no brackets. I had to create my own brackets. When you buy your chair, you can ask them if they have the brackets, but I don't think the chair manufactures have the brackets. I believe the seats are shipped to D-Box and they mount the brackets and actuators to the seat. I could be wrong about this. If that's the case, you'd be doing yourself a favor to get the brackets from the seating manufacture.
The actuators are not labeled. I had to label them myself when I removed them from the chassis.
You would have to create three extension cables for each actuator. The white is a power cable, the black is the data cable, and the red is a connector I used for the ground cable.
Chances of breaking the actuators is pretty low, but I messed with them as little as possible.
Again, it's not for the faint of heart and I need to make the point that I cannot be held responsible for anything that happens to your D-Box system by following my tips above.
