What did you do when you found this?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: OK I see the pic now.

This same situation happened to me. Except it was my 2 year old, and a dry erase marker. Saw the first part of the 'art work' on hte kitchen island. Oh great. Started cleaning it up then the wife notices the TV. I turn it on and it looks like a spaghetti mess all over my 51" sony HDTV. The boy was not happy that night, but made it thru alive.

Lucky it was dry erase and most of it wiped off without much effort. Had to use some cleaner that removed some of the anti-glare coating for the rest. about 98% back to normal when I was done. Sorry, wasn't thinking about taking pictures at the time.

OMG. File a missing child report

This is pretty funny - but at least its great for the 'Honey, its time for a bigger TV' line. No need for the excuse

They do look like happy kids!

can you just imagine what that would do to a screen like a Stewart MicroPerf?

This is why I'm afraid to have kids!

love is a grand thing..isn't it?!?!

Reason number 5327 why the only child I ever plan on having is a Basset Hound. The thing barely moves all day, and if he does something wrong, I can always throw him into a cage for a few hours

Also, this is another example of why children are running amok. The kid throws paint all over the house and the only thing the idiot parent can think of is to snap a picture. Personally the only thing I would have snapped was the rugrats neck ... but hey, that's reason number 3252 why I don't have kids.

Actually, getting it on a picture is the best response! There's nothing you can do that would improve the situation, and beating/yelling will only make the kids resent you and breed dissent (not to teach kids to hit their own kids, and perpetuate the abuse).

Once you have those pictures, you dock their allowance until their part of the clean-up is paid off. Then, when they're 12, you use that picture to shame them into doing chores :-)
