I got mine Wii finally, I was the sixth in line. They had 16 in stock @ Walmart in Piscataway.

Went by local WalMart around midnight. They got 44 systems in, and there were about 30 people in line. The other local store apparently got 30 and there were 6 left when I called.

holy crap i finally got one! thanks guys!!!

Got mine today as well. Walmart in Belleville, Mi only sold around 6 before I got there. They still had over 30 available, not one person came in looking for one in the 10+ minutes I was there.

Confirm for Durham, NC - they had several...

Got mine a couple weeks ago, but when I went in to the Meijer in Kalamazoo, MI today for a classic controller...I saw Wiis on the shelf for the first time. Seems that Nintendo is getting some numbers out.

Lined up at my 24 hour walmart last night at 10:30. First in line--At 12:00 they reset the computers and brought out the Wiis and I took mine home!

Composite looks not so great on my 46 XBR3---looking for the component cables now!

I got a Wii this morning at Wal Mart at about 9:30am. They didn't have any out so I thought they had sold out - as usual. Then I asked the guy behind the electronics counter and he pulled a Wii off a cart that was behind the counter. There was one left after I bought mine. The guy said they received about 30 and they put them out at 7am. He said this was the first time they had waited and not put them out at midnight.

I also bought another controller and a classic controller since they had them in. I'm not going to hook it up until I get a component cable since I'm pretty sure it will look bad on my projector with the composite cable.

Yea my brother got one early this morning, didn't start selling them until 8. They had over 40, so there were plenty to go around.

Back when I got mine, it only took probably 3 minutes. But who knows, maybe it is doing all of the later updates too, such as news and weather channels?

I think it was a combination of things. Yes it updated everything including adding the news and weather, but it was also my router. I had to switch channels on the router. The Wii is the first piece of equipment that has had an issue with channels. I don't know why but since I switched channels, I haven't had any problems.

Hey, if you're in the Ohio area, Im im Marion, I have an extra Wii for sale at retail price. I picked up an extra when I found mine, as I figured it would just end up on ebay if I left it there. You can pick it up anytime after 4 (or in Cardington Ohio 43315 at 4) or I can ship it.

So if you, or anyone else wants it, $265 (for tax) plus actual shipping costs. Since we cant go out and smack the Ebayers, best we can do is help eachother avoid having to stoop to them.

In CT. Picked up a nunchuk, which they had over a dozen of. Also had a handful of Wiimotes. They must have had at least 1 console still available, because they had it on the counter to ring up for the lady behind me.

Picked mine up on Sunday night at 12:01 a.m. at Wal-Mart. They had 27 in stock, about 30 people showed up that night. They had us sitting in the Lawn and Garden Center. It was sweet. I relaxed on a rocking chair for about two hours. Talkin gaming smack with the other folks in line. I guess it was better then waiting in line in 30 degree weather or standing in the electronics department on display.
