Algolith SDI-HDMI Converter OK????

Thread Starter
I am looking to add a Mosquito-HDMI in front of my DVDO VP50

My sources are:
DVD: Panny RP 91 SDI modded
STB: Motorola DCT6412 DVI
Media Server: Roku HD1000 component.

I will need to add a SDI-HDMI connector; my question is, does this degrade the signal in any way? Also, will the Mosquito, or VP50, have a problem because there will not be HDCP on that source?

Thanks.

it has been mentioned that the Algolith converter won't pass below black

I asked Algolith a week ago if they have solved that problem, but they never

replied.
