One remote, multiple ReplayTVs ??

Hi,

I want to stack two ReplayTVs on top of each other with the outputs going to different televisions. What's the best way to isolate the IR receivers and/or IR blasters so the IR blasters only affect the appropriate ReplayTV?

thanks,

The IR blasters aren't used for this purpose, they're used to control other devices, such as Sat STBs and cable STBs.

What you need to is program each Replay to respond to a unique "unit code" and then you need to get a remote that can send the right signal. Unfortunately, there's no way to do this just by entering codes with the remote that you have, you need to use JP1 to re-program the Replay remote, or you need to use some other sort of remote that can be programmed from the PC (as you don't have an original remote, that sends the right signals, to learn from).

I can pre-program a Replay or "One For All" remote with the correct signals for you if you like, drop me a line if you're interested.

The poor boy way is to leave on off and the other one on. When you hit the power button it will swap which replay is on. If you other TV is in another room, you most likely have an IR repeater going to one of the replays and can build an infared 'fort' around the repeater to keep stray signals away.

You can use that file to re-program a Replay 5000 remote for this purpose.
