Thanks again everyone.
To answer a couple of questions
Mister E1, the reason I chose TBAR to be honest is I really didnt feel like drywalling anymore. HHAH. Also I wanted future access to my ceiling. My house is pretty sound dampening anyways (built in the 70s all my walls are double drywall). I was waaaaaay more expensive then they drywall but I really like the look of it.
Cost wise the screen was pretty expensive. Dont get me wrong, its worth every penny, but this room got out of hand price wise really quick..hahhah
Screen and frame are SMX. www.smxscreen.com
. Ruben is a great guy to deal with. You can get the prices from there. Mine is a little different because I had the material first and then added the frame when they were ready.
Components wise, I really dont have any "high end" stuff like a lot of people on here.
My AVR is a Pioneer Elite VSX-81.. like $700 bucks
Projector: Panasonic PT-AX100U - $2300..(its cheaper now I think)
HD PVR Bell Expressvu Sat Box...$20/month
PS3 for blurays mainly..games suck so far. 1000$ (yes I was a sucker on launch day)
Xbox 360 ($550 again sucker had to get the Elite)
Xbox 360 HD Drive off a fellow AVS'er
Thats pretty much all i have. Nothing too elaborate. By far the most expensive is the screen and Projector. But all together for a 125" TV the price wasnt too bad.
Jonathon, thanks. I really like the clean look of the way it ended up. As far as sound treatments, I honestly dont know. I really like the sound in there now, and I dont know if I really need them or not. Havent decided on what to put up in the room yet..ie posters, my Master Replicas Force FX Light sabers?? Who knows
THanks again everyone
Now back to cleaning up and finishing off the rest of the house...kids rooms still dont have any baseboards..hahah
