I don't have a FP and screen setup but will be getting one within the month (on the RS1 preorder list, and will be getting a HiPower screen to go with it). Right now I have a Mits 73727 (1080p dlp) rptv, and my question is this: if a rptv (or plasma, or lcd direct view tv) puts out 30 ftL, say, does it light up a room as much as a front projector and screen that puts out this same # of ftL? Seems like they would be the same, i. e., a given # of ftL coming off (or from) the screen should light up the room the same amount no matter how it's generated. Make sense?
