Another reference DVD.

A lot of you people really like bass heavy scenes but that is not what I am after.
I want a DVD that really take all of my 6.1 speakers simultaneously. I want a movie
with sound that really jumps out of the screen for example THX Robot Fixing Speaker
opening sequence. I want it with tight bass but not over drowning in bass. I should
able to hear high highs and low lows.

There are lots of "battle" scenes in war movies, like Saving Private Ryan, We Were Soldiers, etc., that fit the bill.

for a laugh, rent Eight-legged Freaks.

Pretty spooky hearing huge spiders crawling around on the walls behind your head

The movie wasn't the greatest but the DTS audio for "Stealth" rocked.
