Need 24" - 26" Stand For Plasma TV

I need a stand 24" - 26" for my plasma, the ones I see are almost always too low. I'm currently using a 33" stand and need to lower the set about 7", 10" tops.

Anybody got any ideas from the major retailers? I'd also like to stay away from glass (but I think tempered is OK?) since that AVS thread about exploding glass and a plasma.

Any ideas? I am a bit fearful of glass since the TV stand would be near a radiator and there was a 'Plasma Glass Stand Cracked' thread a while back on AVS.

Anybody got any suggestions in the 24"-26" range ?
