Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party

Konami has announced that their next iteration of DDR is coming to the Wii with the name, Hottest Party. It will use both the dance pad AND wiimote+nunchuk at the same time. No word on whether or not the pads from DDR: Mario Mix can be used, yet. The music selection is supposed to be a new set of songs 'from the last 40 years', which suggests plenty of cover music (a rhythm game standard).

i'd love to know what you're going to use the wiimote for. is there a set of marching band songs?

wiimotes will be used for arm motions....when you dance do you just put your hands in your pockets? lol

Or maybe wave them in the air like you just dont care?

I think this looks incredible! My wife and son love the "dance" sequences in Rayman and Warioware. Any games that get my son off the couch is appealing.

Riverdance..lol..good one Todd. I dont think anyone can master feet of flames..

Lots of broken dance pads I'd imagine if they released riverdance..lol
