I'm getting DD 3.0; LCR. Drew looks good.

Yep. It still don't beat the Justin Timberlake December edition. That's the best episode.

Oh, I did not know anyone still watched that unfunny show...hhhmmmmmmm.

Watching on a DVR delay, I'm currently a half hour in and I have not found anything all that funny yet.

Tuned in and saw the Target sketch. It's almost as if they aren't even going for "funny" anymore.

I didn't even find Weekend Update funny, which usually provides a few laughs for me.

I thought the Target, Dakota Fanning, Interview and Versage Super Bowl party skits were very funny. Seth Myers was not a good choice for Weekend Update.

Yeah, SNL is in one of its "down" periods. The show is cyclical. Hopefully things will improve in a year or two.

I watched up until Weekend Update, and didn't get a single laugh.

you people are dull. Maybe old time radio will give you some laughs, check your local AM radio dial.

Honestly, the dull person would probably be the one who believed last night's SNL was funny. It's a lame show right now, zero edge, zero controversy, zero biting lines.

It's just... boring.

you can call my wife dull as well then, we both laughed. Maybe you were tired and needed sleepy peepee.

I've watched a lot of those old shows recently (not the 60 trimmed versions but the full 90 minute versions) and every season had a surprising number of shows that weren't very funny. They had a lot of sketches that went on forever and didn't even get two laughs. By the fourth season it really looked like the show was starting to die. It's really hard to compare the show to what it was thirty years ago.

The only skits I thought were good were the Dakota Fanning show, the Jazzercise one and that was about it. It is pretty bad lately when all I watch it for is the musical guest. I am sure it will get better, I remember the early shows when Horatio Sanz was 1st on, most of the show was stupid except for the skits with him. It will take time. Like others have said it is cyclical.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

The opening American Idol sketch could have EASILY been made funny. Instead, it was stupid. Animal singers??! Ugh.

Yeah, how do they screw that up??? Mad TV is a very funny show, that is what I watch now. Bobby Lee is great.
