Hi Ballyweg!

I don't actually have After Affects and it costs $1000. I don't think I am prepared to spend that kind of money on a video editing program just yet! Is it possible to make a Dolby Digital intro in Blender (maybe like this one without the fire effect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAu_2r77-Rg) or a Pixar intro in blender. If you could make both I think I would like the Pixar one to be done first!

Thanks!

I'll take a look at it.

If it's only for making my intros, you can use the trial version of Adobe After Effects CS6 from the adobe website.

I have also been looking into using other editing software that is available for free.

Hi Ballyweg!

When I download the Adobe After Effects Trial, it don't work with Adobe Download Assistant. Is there any way you can download it without Adobe Download Assistant?

Let me know!

P.S. What is the other video editing software that is free?

P.P.S. Thanks for taking a look at the Pixar and Dolby intros in Blender!!!!

Hi,
I haven't tried it myself, so I can't help you there, but you should be able to use the Adobe Download Assistant.

Hi Ballyweg

I tried Adobe Download Assistant again but it says my login isn't valid. If you can make any of those intro's in blender I would be very greatful.smile.gif

Anyone know how to solve audio dropouts? I get audio but it seems like its dropping in and out.

It seems to be only the Adobe trailers.

I released some new template files for the Disney Pirates Of Caribbean Intro!

@colleycol It might be a problem on playback. Did you use the right Codec? Try playing it with VLC Media Player.
