I have recently purchased a Samsung DVD-R135 recorder w/HDMI upconversion. I have a HDMI cable connecting the dvd player to my tv. I then have a digital coax cable running to my 5.1 surround sound receiver. I have a problem watching DTS recorded dvds. When in the DTS mode, the picture and sound hesitates for a few seconds, starts playing again, then hesitates again. When the receiver is on, I usually get an "HDMI audio not available" on my tv screen at the beginning of the the dvd. This is not a big problem, but the DTS is. Any suggestions? Only the DTS is a problem, Dolby Digital is not. You would think both would be since they both except a bitstream format. I am just wondering is this is a HDMI/digital coax combo issue.
