OK "funniest" is arguable. I put it there just to get your attention. But this concert should be one of the funniest stand-up concerts ever taped. I don't know why it took this long to make it to DVD, but it's finally here. Those of you who never watched this concert, you should check it out. Eddie Murphy's funniest performance might be this one.

Netfilx is sending it to me today.

I had an auditape of this when i was a kid and listened to it everynight before I went to bed.

I still have the VHS. I watched this last night and for the most part it's still hilarious. Some of the bits feel dated; I'm sure most younger people don't know who Ralph Kramden is. The G.I. Joe and Ice Cream bits are still hilarious. The pic quality is average at best. It only looks slightly better than the VHS I have. Anyways, it's about time that this finally got released.

IMHO, his original concert before Delirious is even funnier. I wonder if that was ever taped.

DeepDiscountDVD has it for $12 shipped if anyone is interested.

I saw it only once in the late 90s and don't remember much except that it was funny. I'm sure some of the stuff is dated, but it's the nature of these performances. I don't even know who Ralph Kramden is, but it's still funny.

I doubt it, but do you use YouTube? I see a lot of stuff that I've never seen before at YT. Well at least they made Delirious and Raw.

To anyone who cares, I just did an A/B comparison of the original DELIRIOUS DVD with the new 25th Anniversary Edition and am stunned to find that the video quality of the original is superior! The new anniversary edition has a bizarre and constant judder to the image, as though every few frames has been removed, or it's not being played at exactly the correct frame rate. By contrast, the original DVD runs smoothly, with a realistic "flow" to motion in the image. If you are an uber-collector, you'll need the new DVD for its additional bonus feature, but don't sell off your old DVD, because it's the one you'll still want to use to watch the actual concert film. Weird...

perhaps the funniest comedy scene of all time, something you can play to any audience to have them roll on the floor crying laughin is the scene in Bowfinger when he played that jerry lewis nerdy character with eyeglasses persaueded by steve martin to run across the 110 pasadena freeway.
