All,
I have a Panasonic plasma 50PX60U, about 2 months old. Have been watching it about 30 to 40 hours a week so far. I made sure during the initial break in period to avoid keeping it on one channel too long to avoid burn-in. However, I was reading that you should also make sure "it is in constant stretch" mode during this break in period to avoid the bars from burning in. However, I didn't know this and for Standard Def channels I kept the side bars on, and for High-Def it naturally filled the entire screen. During my two month period I would say half my time was on standard def and half on high-def. Do I have anything to worry about as far as possibly damaging the tv with burn-in? I don't think I can see anything resembling that but was interested in hearing others experiences. Thanks.
