Can you pls tell me more about your "blue haze" problem? I think I'm there too!
I have PJ TX-100 with about 2,536hr on the clock. [yes, I'm on my second lamp]. Has worked like a dream since new. Awsome picture until the dreaded "blue haze" started from bottom-left corner of the screen [projector is upside-down, as its roof mounted] I'm about to hand it over to Hitachi Service Centre who suggested it might be Iris related; and if so, will most likely mean it will cost more to repair than replace. [ouch!] Good news is that I bought extended warranty to 5 years an so [I expect I] will be covered. I'd love to hear more about [what, where, when, how, etc.] your experience.
I''l know its exactly the same problem if you can tell me whether the "blue haze" replaces black colour projection when a TV/DVD etc. image is projected. So, on a white or light coloured part of the screen image it isfine. On a dark or black coloured part of the screen image, it comes out blue. [Is this bring back horrible memories?] Just to frustrate me even more, only 50% of the screen is effected [but its getting worse!!!] so on right of the screen it's perfect colours on the left hand side of the screen it sux.
Sure would welcome any [all] of your thoughts.
