Sync Sound

I have my replay connected to my cable box via S-Video and RCA and the Replay connected to the plasma dispaly using the same system. Yet the sound is playing out of sync from the Replay to the display. Since the signal is being both recorded and output from the Replay, why is this problem occuring? Any solutions? There is an inconclusive post on this issue in the FAQs.

you need to route your audio from the cable box to the replaytv, then from the replaytv to the TV just like you have the video set up.

Everything that passes through the replaytv is delayed a second or so, even 'live'. If you hook the audio directly from the cable box to the TV audio and video will be out of sync.

Is it out of synch all the time, while playing live TV, or just some of the time?

Thanks for the 2 answers. The sound is going from the cable box into the replay and from the replay to the TV, w. s-video. There is no sync problem w. live sound, just recorded.

What is the model number on the Replay? Does the problem show up if you rewind live TV?
