I am new to the forum and not real technically savvy. I'm having a problem with my SA 8300 DVR, or possible my TV, involving an audible buzz that is heard through the TV when it is connected to the SA 8300.
When the TV is connected to the DVR, there is a very audible buzz through the TV when the TV power is switched on. The buzz continues while watching programming, although it seems less noticeable on some channels. When I unplug the DVR and switch on the TV, there is no buzzing.
Is anyone familiar with this problem? Is it the TV or the DVR. It would seem to me that it is the DVR since the TV switched on it's own and with the DVR unplugged doesn't make the noise.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts or advice on this.
