using digital coax cable for analog 6 ch output on Oppo 970

Thread Starter
I am ordering all my cables from Monoprice this weekend so they can arrive next week and I can hook everything up next weekend.

I was going to order 3 sets of premium rca pairs for the 6 ch output in either 3 or 6 feet (only need 3 ft) but both are out of stock. I then looked at the standard rca pairs and also the mono cables but some of the comments for these are not so good.

Can I use the digital coax cables for this purpose? Based on the comments I saw I would rather get the digital coax if it would work. The price differences are not really not that much considering the reviews.

3 sets of standard rca 6 ft. - $3.45 total
6 mono cables 6 ft - $4.56 total
6 high quality digital coax 3 ft - $10.56 total

What do you guys think?

Thank you

They are all the same 75 ohm cables ,so it does'nt make a difference.
