OK, so I need your help. I'm trying to figure out how to mount my center chanell speaker. You can see a photo of my room here:

I'm thinking hanging from the shelf immediatley below the TV. This is where it gets interesting.
The TV Shelf is Painted MDF, looks like about 3/4 or 5/8s thick. Then, there is about a 4-5 inch thick drywall box, and then the area below, where the reciever and xbox will go. The problem is, the box below the tv has no studs in it that my stud finder can detect, as well as no studs on the sides. So I have no idea how to mount it.
The center channel is a Monitor Audio R225 which is about 30 inches long by 4 or 5 tall and deep. It's screw mounts are two on each end. Something like this:
