To AT or not to AT with MF-1??

hey guys need your help-I have the Meridian MF-1- Currently set up and waiting for 2.35( I am having serious doubts as to Mer. will EVER get their act together with video)-Any way my Sreen research 10' wide AT screen does not have enough gain to work properly with this PJ - If I go to a non-AT screen I can move my screen back and go to a 11-12' wide screen and just leave my speakers set up front where they are now- By moving the screen back I will be roughly 16' from the first row- Any thoughts on what screen AT or not that would work well with this PJ would be greatly appreciated- The room is totally light controlled-I am posting this here as there is more action than at the Screen forum- thanks, gary

Might consider the Stewart x2 material with 1.5 to 1.8 gain.

Gary we spoke recently, as far as non AT screens if you can mount the projector fairly low and your'e about 4 seats wide at max then you should be good with the dalite highpower screen ,im using it with my marantz 11-s1 which is 700 lumens and I have no problems at all with brightness as a matter of fact I have the iris on the marantz closed down, second choice for a bright non AT screen is the vutec silverstar, you will not have to mount the projector lower for this screen and its very bright and viewing cone is very good I did find the dalite highpower to be more of a transparent screen than the silverstar, its best if you can see these screens for yourself, good luck
