hi all....
well here I sit, now, pondering my "too too many choices" of Toshiba HDTV
tube tvs 34" and under, there seems to be about 6 to 8 models in these
sizes alone!
[I wanted to first check out the lcds, mostly the Samsungs, wonderful ratings but for my ps2/xbox, i read that crts will still have the game display well, whereas
for the hdtv lcds, "they" warn me that the game might not look as good, as I use my tv mostly for gaming.]
So I might after all find that no store sells these Toshibas anymore, the crt tube is nearly extinct.
the Toshiba
--30hf85 30 inch
--30hf84 geometry issues, i read, with early models.
--32hf73
--34hf85 but made now by Orion
--34hf84
there are probably yet more!
all are hdtv and progressive scan. Problem is...that I have games, like for the ps2, that are not progressive scan made, thus they have to also look good
on the component, but standard, tv.
I have a toshiba 27" now, a standard tv, but the component cables make for a fairly good image.
So what experiences has anyone here had with these models?
Are they good for games?
my heart is set for the samsung 32" lcd, but at $1300, too too expensive and then waht about the games that are non-progressive.
thanks...freestone
