9PG Xtra overscan

I am having troubles getting my 9PG Xtra to scan to 1080p. I end up with the image wrapping around on both sides. Adjusting the amplitude makes no difference. Changing the 'position' moves it from one side to the other, but theres always at least some. I imagine theres just some cables I need to swap or a screw I need to turn. Any suggestions?

Add more porch pixels in the source.

Porch pixels?

What is your source? The "porch" settings are a function of the source not the projector.

Look HERE
I believe the porch settings are the "prehsyn and the posthsync so by making adjustmens to those numbers on the source you can adjust for what your seeing. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yea, my mac works fine. There is very few settings on the 360, and definately none of the porch type settings.

I don't think any CRTs work with the Xbox 360 1080p timings - they are really screwed up.

Yoou aren't the only one.

But why 1080p rather than 1080i?

I have the hd-dvd player. I wonder if I can make my mac read the player... Some day we shall see HD-DVD drivers for the 360's hd dvd player.
