Remote Codes in Binary Form?

Is there a site where the hex codes for manufactures remotes are listed along with any special timing requirments?

My HTPC is the control center and many of my devices were either equipped or modified for RS232 control. But my Poineer RPTV needs to switch the video inputs depending on the source, composite, SVideo, RGB. I would like to simply send the command out a parallel port pin and drive an IR LED.

Barring that I will buy a cheap programmable remote and tack FET's (solid state switches) across the PC board switches. A kludge for sure but it will work.

You can try:

www.remotecentral.com
www.prontoedit.com

to get the codes programmed in the Prontos. Then download a file from these locations (sorry, don't remember it's name) to get the Hex, or you can use Pronto Emulator (even if you don't own the Pronto) to read this Hex. The forums at both of these sites will make this clearer than I can.
