I just got my Beta 50's and C360 yesterday.
The 360 is indeed huge! It absolutely Dwarfs my 27" TV, but it sounds amazing, as do the 50's. I was playing around with some various recordings and settings yesterday and was totally blown away. I'd also purchased an Emotiva LPA-1 amp to power them. Good Decision I think. I put in the cd "Inhuman Rampage" by Dragonforce, which would always clip at some point on my primus setup around -20db when hooked up to my Onkyo 804 recvr. using the LPA and the 804 as the pre I was able to get these speakers as high as +5db to +10db without clipping. Some distortion around +7db and higher. As I said I didn't notice any clipping at this volume, but then again I only had it that loud for a short while since my face was starting to melt off.
I also tried the surround sound version of Metallica's Black album. It sounded better than I've ever heard it before. The Bass on "The Unforgiven" was very tight, clean, and Powerful... and I don't even have a sub hooked up right now!
I really think I'm going to like these speakers, assuming I don't go deaf in the next week from listening to them.
I'm still waiting on two Beta 40's and an Infinity SW-12 to arrive and round out my system. Can't wait till they get here.
Oh... and the cherry finish looks very nice as well.
