QUicj question reagring audio signal under the HDMI interface. I was tlkaing with some other guys reagrding a soundcard that had a 8 Channel discrete PCM connector. Which can be said is very similar to the HDMI standard. Now if a person could make a adapter cable or bracket couldn't one interface it to HDMI audio?
or would there be sometype of header info on the data lableing as HDMI.
I hope you can understand what I am saying and what I am asking. They also said it was a much sought after connection for Hi def audio as you could do alot with 8 channels of discrete 24/192 PCM spdif outputs. I have looked for some info regarding HDMI audio spec but couldn't get this info..could it be done?
