Component Video Switch

I'm not sure this is the appropriate forum, but here goes as I couldn't find a spot to ask the question. I now have more component devices than I care to admit and not enough ports to accomidate them. Are there any decent, reasonably priced component switches where I wouldn't lose too much video quality?

I like the Audio Authority 1154A. I think you can get it for a good price now. It has auto sensing which works great.

That one looks really nice. A manual one will work great, if it can save me some money.

looks good but won't be in stock until March.

I've used the Inday for a couple of years now. Be sure and look at the bandwidth comparison graphs.

Thanks for that, Tom. I will check out the differences between the Inday and the 1154A.

I read a similar thread on the Gaming accessories board but ended more confused than enlightened! I'm looking for an HD component AV switch to connect at least 3 HD inputs (including digital media player & dvd player) to an Arcam AVR300 receiver & then to a Sony Wega LCD projection HD TV. I'm looking for something (around $150 max) that doesn't affect picture quality & that (ideally) is compatible with a Harmony universal remote ...
Does anyone have recommendations?
thanks!
scott.

I just got the Impact Acoustics unit from Amazon. Three inputs/one output. Switches both component video and audio. Audio can be either toslink or analog RCA. There is a nice online review somewhere. Around 50 bucks! It appears in the Harmony database.

I will be hooking it up tomorrow. Well built. Looks to me to be made by the same factory as the Monoprice 4x2 HDMI switch I also have.

Jerry,
I just bought the Impact Acoustics 6x2 unit last night (sick of the endless guessing & it seemed to have the least negatives) - I'll post a review if you do!

I have a Neothings Avalon 2 x 8 component switch works great. I also control it from the RS232 port with MainLobby. No problems.

You can find a whole lot more info about switchs and distrubition in Home A/V Distribution & Networking section of the forum

At first, it was spotty at responding to the remote. I discovered that it is overly sensitive to IR. Covered the IR receiving window with electrical tape and responds perfectly now.

Picture looks fine (it is going to a 720p set, though)
